ABOUT THE PROJECT
For many years, creating convincing images required professional cameras, studios, expensive software and considerable experience.
Today, anyone with a computer can create scenes that never happened.
Artificial intelligence has made image creation easier, faster and more accessible than ever before.
The technology itself is not the problem. In many ways, it is fascinating.
The more interesting question is: Why do we so readily believe what we see?
Most people assume they read every word. They do not.
If you can raed tihs, yuor bairn is flinilg in the msisng dtaleis.
The same thing happens when looking at photographs. Our brains recognize patterns, fill gaps and construct meaning long before we consciously analyze what we see.
I SAW THAT is a collection of images, experiments and observations exploring the relationship between perception, technology and belief.
The goal of this project is not to criticize artificial intelligence.
The goal is to encourage curiosity, observation and critical thinking in a world where creating realistic images becomes easier every day.
